![]() If He tried, our answer would be confused because, I don’t know about you, but, I sure don’t know and understand the ways of God. God’s big-picture is at work now, and He doesn’t feel the need (nor is He obligated) to explain it to us. We see only a pinpoint of time, but God’s view is panoramic. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?” In all this, Job did not sin in what he said. His wife said to him, “Are you still maintaining your integrity? Curse God and die!” He replied, “You are talking like a foolish woman. ![]() A question we need to ask ourselves is one that Job’s wife asked of Job, “Are you still holding on to your integrity?” Will our answer be like Job’s, “Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?” We have really been blessed by God, and now for an undetermined time we need to live in a way that is strange and foreign to us. With the limited conversations I have had with others, I’ve heard people say such things as how this time is “the pits”, “really sucks”, and “I don’t know what to do with myself.” Yes, these are unusual times, for sure.įrom the beginning of the “stay at home” order, due to COVID19, I was in a Bible study of Esther, and now I’ve begun with the Book of Job…seems ironic that during this time I am drawn to the study of these 2 books of Scripture. But don’t forget, with the fruit comes the pits. I’ve heard it said that life is a bowl of cherries. ![]() ![]() For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. ![]()
